LPN Nursing Pathway

The LPN Nursing Pathway allows full-time employees from Central VT Medical Center, UVM Medical Center, Porter Medical Center, and Home Health & Hospice to continue earning a salary while taking classes toward their LPN degree at no cost to them.

This program is offered in partnership with the Community College of Vermont (CCV) and Vermont State University (VTSU) for this opportunity. 

Upon successful completion, you will work full-time as an LPN at one of the eligible units or practices in your respective partner location.

When’s the next Cohort of LPN Nursing Pathway Students?

Seats are available for Fall 2024 admission at VTSU through this specific Pathway program for individuals who have completed necessary pre-requisites. For interested students who have not yet completed the pre-requisites, pre-application work with CCV begins now.
